CONDITION OF REPORTING

  • All laboratory investigations have their limitations which are imposed by the limits of sensitivity and specificity of individual assay procedures as well as the quality of the specimen received by the laboratory. Isolated laboratory investigations never confirm the final diagnosis of the disease, but may help in arriving at diagnosis in conjunction with clinical presentation and other related investigations. 
  •  Any unauthorized reproduction in partial / full of reports are illegal. 
  •  The reports results are for the information of the referring doctor only. 
  •  The reports are not valid for medico-legal purpose / forensic application. 
  •  Laboratory reports are dependent on quality of specimen received. 
  •  A test might not be performed under following conditions:  
  • Insufficient quantity (inadequate collection / spoilage in transit, etc.) 
  • Unacceptable quality (hemolyzed / clotted / lipemic, etc.)  
  • Incorrect specimen type / Incorrect identity. 
  •  In above mentioned conditions, it is expected that fresh sample is send for reporting same parameters. 
  • For any query in the report, it is suggested to contact the concerned laboratory personnel as  suggested in the table to help carry out follow-up action (rechecking, repeat sampling, reflex / confirmatory Testing, etc.) 
  •  All dispute / claims concerning to this reports are Subject to Rajkot Jurisdiction only. 
  • The test result is subject to variations due to technical limitations hence co-relation with clinical findings and other investigations.
  • This is only analytical report. It should be confirmed by pathology laboratory.
